Navigating our romantic lives can be filled with incredible highs and unfathomable lows. Everyone enters relationships with a unique idea of what makes connection work. But even with our differences, we have a common thread running through all of us: the deep desire to love and be loved.
Based on her experiences, and with the help of her closest friends and the men in her life, author Jessica R. Bunevacz created a series of guidelines for women looking to enjoy dating and romance and avoid common pitfalls and difficulties.
Whether you’re dating, getting ready to walk down the aisle, or are already married and looking to take your marriage to the next level, it’s profoundly important to celebrate where you are on your journey and make every day special and meaningful for yourself and those around you.
Date like a Girl, Marry like a Woman incorporates Bunevacz’s own stories of love, dating, and marriage with practical advice for today’s modern relationship and reminds readers not to settle for anything less than the best.

I WROTE A BOOK FOR WOMEN, WHY NOT FOR MEN? by Jessica R. Bunevacz
Through the years, most of my relationship counseling has been with women, although I often talk with both husbands and wives. After I wrote Date Like a Girl, Marry Like a Woman: The Polished Woman’s Guide to Love, Romance, and Sex, I found myself referring to passages in the book that applied to circumstances that we were discussing. Issues that were front and center had been covered in my book and I was able to point to examples of how to apply my “Rules” in relationships.
Sometimes the husband would ask, “Why don’t we have a book like this for men so we know what to do?” Other guys would say, “I don’t know what women want. We should have a book that will tell us what to do or how to treat our wives.”
Often wives or even single women would tell me, “Someone should write something for men— how men should treat women, what husbands should do for their wives.” Most of the women I talked to said that they would definitely buy this book for their husbands or boyfriends. In fact, many of the men said they would read this book as well!
When I did my research, I found that many of the books available for men encouraged them to play games or be manipulative. I was looking for a book that would teach a man how to relate to women in a straightforward manner, with complete honesty. I decided the best thing to do would be to write this book myself. I had done it for women, why not for men? My next book will discuss rules to follow from dating through marriage—how to relate to women, how to treat women, how to find a good woman and keep her, and especially, how to make her happy forever. I hope that a couple could use both my books together and look at love, romance, and sex from both perspectives—male and female. Perhaps they could avoid spending hundreds of dollars on therapy just by reading these books together.
