Top Ten Tuesday #14

Another Top Ten Tuesday about books that celebrate diversity or books with diverse characters.


This week’s topic for Top Ten Tuesday was books that celebrate diversity/books with diverse characters. This one was quite hard to think up books off the top of my head for, so after a little digging on the internet, these were the ones that I came up with:

1. Pure-Julianna Baggott-This was one I actually thought of myself, I figured what is more diverse than the characters of this book, you have a girl who has a doll head fused to her hand, a boy with birds in his back, a guy who is fused to his brother, there are so many diverse and different characters in this trilogy.

2. Noughts And Crosses-Malorie Blackman-Again, one that I came up with myself, this book has so much diversity, the main female character is black and the Crosses (black people) are the ruling class, plus it has an interracial romance in it…
